1984年我局认真贯彻党中央的关于整顿和改革的决定,采取了革新挖潜的方针,把扩能增运、提高经济效益作为全局重点工作来抓。通过一年来的努力,初步打通了川贵两省的物资运输,胜利地完成了全年运输生产任务,换算周转量全年增长了20.6%,受到了川贵两省政府和铁道部的表扬。在1984年中,我局机务部门克服了机车动力不足的困难,从提高区段牵引定数入手,进行牵引试验,改革机车牵引方式,在四条内燃牵引干线上分别采用双机牵引加点式补机,重联机车改前后分挂,双机牵引加开大列,使几个区段的牵引定数分别提高
In 1984, our bureau conscientiously implemented the Party Central Committee’s decision on rectification and reform, adopted the principle of reform and tapping the potential, and took the task of expanding transportation capacity and increasing economic efficiency as the overall priorities. Through the efforts of the past year, the transportation of materials in the two provinces of Sichuan and Guizhou was basically opened up, and the annual transportation and production tasks were successfully accomplished. The conversion turnover increased by 20.6% for the whole year, which was praised by the governments of Sichuan and Guizhou provinces and the Ministry of Railways. In mid-1984, the maintenance department of our bureau overcame the difficulties of inadequate locomotive power. Starting with increasing the number of traction sections, the traction test was carried out to reform the locomotive traction mode. Two traction machines were added on the four internal combustion traction lines respectively, Re-linking the locomotive before and after the change points linked to double traction and open a large column, so that several sections of the traction set were increased
