There have been some recent comments on how UNESCO sees quality education. An introduction published in the “World Education Information” No. 9, 2004 is an example. The translation of Pigozzi’s (M.J.) article here focuses on the six key dimensions of quality education that the organization is concerned with following the Dakar World Education Forum (2000). As the Director of UNESCO’s Education for Quality Improvement, the author emphasizes that learning content and learning methods are of particular importance in these six dimensions. At the same time, the author believes that admission should always take precedence over the quality of education is not the most appropriate. The original article entitled “Learning content and learning methods are elements of education for all.”
