The ethical insights into new fertility techniques relate to the gestational phase from the time of completion of the fertilization process until the establishment of biological individuals. It needs a name. What exactly is the name given to this unique biological interval? The American Fertility Society Ethics Committee chose the name pre-embryo. What exactly is the pre-embryonic? Is there any particular ethical issue? The pre-embryonic concise definition is from the end of the fertilization process up to the development of a single, structured embryo. The author believes that the end of the fertilization process is the first mixture of genetic material between the two ancestors of the nuclear envelope, the formation of the nuclear membrane at two cell stages. The beginning is the first contact of sperm with the zona pellucida for at least 24 hours. Early embryonic development of the outcome is very special, often deformity. During this period there may be several alternations: ① early development, the majority of developing structures nourish subsequent embryos, trophoblast predominance during this stage, is the predecessor of placenta and amniotic membrane. Isolation of embryos is the end of this phase. By a few cells, is the embryo’s germination. ②
