认知风格是个体认知活动偏爱的信息加工处理方式,场独立和场依存认知风格则是认知风格的核心。大学英语阅读中也存在场独立和场依存两种不同的认知方式。教师应结合这两种认知方式的特点,对大学生的英语阅读进行学法指导和阅读技巧训练,以提高大学生的英语阅读能力。
Cognitive style is the preferred method of processing information for individual cognitive activities. Field independence and field-dependent cognitive style are the core of cognitive style. There are also two different cognitive ways of field independence and field dependence in college English reading. Teachers should combine the characteristics of these two modes of cognition to carry out the study of college English reading instruction and reading skills training to improve college students’ English reading ability.
