在正常水分条件下,玉米充分展开新叶中cAMP含量随生育时期而异,前期随植株生长而增加,并于旺盛生长期——雌穗小花分化期上升到峰值,以后随叶龄变老而下降;同一生育阶段,处于旺盛生长和分化发育的器官,如心叶和幼穗,其cAMP含量较高;干旱导致cAMP含量下降,其总趋势是,含量越高,下降幅度越大,对干旱反应敏感;Ca~(2+)(0.25%)和油菜素内酯BR(0.01μg/g)处理有使干旱时叶中cAMP含量增加的效应;叶中ATP含量的变化与cAMP相似。
