西德的OHB装置公司研制了使用气球进行廉价微重力实验的装置“MIKROBA2”。计划由气球搭载该实验装置,把落体吊到40~45公里高度后投放它,产生10~(-3)G的微重力,在此状态下持续约60秒。预定1988年开始运行。该项工作已在1986年5月由稍小一些的“MIKROBA 1”微重力实验装置进行了实际投放试验。已确认可获得十分稳定的微重力状态。
West Germany’s OHB plant developed a device “MIKROBA2” that uses balloons for cheap microgravity experiments. The experiment is planned to be carried by a balloon, which will be dropped after it falls to a height of 40-45 km and will produce a microgravity force of 10 -3 G in this state for about 60 seconds. Scheduled to run in 1988. This work was carried out in May 1986 by the actual “MIKROBA 1” microgravity experimental set-up. It has been confirmed that a very stable state of microgravity can be obtained.
