什么是兰花的“幽灵草”?先得从稻田里的“白秧”说起。有农事活动经历的人,大都知道什么是“白秧”。在绿如丝毯的稻田里常可看到少许的白色秧苗,农民称之为“米秧”,误认为是夹杂在稻种里的米粒长出的秧苗。其实,稻谷通过砻碾,种子的胚芽早已磨去,是不可能发芽的。这种“白秧”在兰花中也偶有出现,表现为兰花叶片出现纯白色或白里带黄,最后转成全白。不少人认为是变异,甚至有些兰花贩子也以此假冒变异兰骗人,上当的人不在少数。其实,这就是兰花“幽灵草”,因其像幽灵般地在兰丛中若隐若现,故得其名。资料上对此并无记载,只在兰界口头中流传。 What is the orchid’s “ghost grass”?
