社会主义市场经济的建立,推动了社会的发展。随着改革开放的不断深入,人民的生活水平和文化水平不断提高,对卫生防疫工作的需要也在不断增长。特别是2000年人人享有卫生保健目标的实现,需要卫生防疫人员去辛勤而努力地工作。另外,医学模式的转变、卫生防病执法程序的不断完善,新的传染病种的不断出现以及一些已濒临灭亡和已被控制的传染病的死灰复燃,意外伤害及一些严重危害人民健康的慢性病的防治工作,都给卫生防疫工作提出了新的课题。为适应社会主义市场经济发展的需要和满足社会主义初级阶段人民对卫生防病工作的需求,卫生防疫站必须加大改革力度,上水平,上档次,去拼搏,去探索,去认真努力工作。只有这样才能完成历史赋予卫生防疫站的重任。要很好地完成这些工作,必须从防疫站内部改革入手,加强管理,向管理要效益。
