近年来,由于方法学的进步,血小板研究工作进展迅速,对其代谢和功能有了更深入的了解。它不仅在止血和血栓形成中占有极为重要地位,而且在动脉粥样硬化,创伤愈合,炎症免疫反应等多种生理、病理过程中也起着重要的作用,因而血小板有多功能细胞之称。自1968年,Gasic等最早发现,把肿瘤细胞静脉注射到血小板减少的动物体内,肺部转移数目明显减少,证实血小板与肿瘤有一定关系以来,血小板对于肿瘤的发生、发展及转移影响的研究有了较大进展。
