血红素加氧酶/一氧化碳(HO/CO)是继一氧化氮合酶/一氧化氮(NOS/NO)后新发现的气体信使系统,同时两者之间还存在着复杂的相互作用,目前认为他们互为反抑制剂。HO分解血红素三种物质,其中CO为气体信使分子,胆红素具有抗氧化作用,而Fe2+对于氧化调节有双向作用。HO、HO-1的表达在不同情形下既可发挥有利作用,也可造成损害作用,并对其可能机制进行分析。本文对缺血性脑损伤后HO的变化作一详细综述。
