The concept “intertextuality” points out that every text comes out on the basic of vestige or memory of the previous text or takes shape by absorbing and transforming other texts. It provides a new perspective to translation, especially literary translation. The translation of You Are This World’s April Day involves many cultural images. And the intertextuality in these cultural images is well worth exploring. This paper studies Zhao Yanchun’s translation of You Are This World’s April Day and discusses the performance of intextuality in the cultural images.
