为更好地提高高职高专英语教学实效,本文结合当前社会对人才的需求,围绕高职高专英语教学实际,提出了开设高职高专应用第二课堂的具体策略,以弥补课堂教学之不足,帮助学生更多地了解英美文化和交际情境,尤其是通过丰富多彩的英语活动可以满足学生的不同兴趣和个性需求,提高学生的学习效率和应用能力,培养我国社会经济发展所需的涉外英语人才。英语是一门注重实践的应用学科,学生需要学习一定知识理论,更需要有较多的实践应用机会,并在实践中不断锻炼,才能提升他们的表达能力、交际应用能力。在高职高专英语教学中开设第二课堂能够很好地弥补课堂教学之不足,为学生营造更加有利的应用环境,帮助学生拓展视野、提高交际应用技巧,增强学生的应用兴趣。第二课堂给学生提供了更多体验英语的机会,帮助学生更多地了解英美文化,尤其是可以通过丰富多彩的英语活动满足学生的不同兴趣和个性需求,为学生搭建更多的英语展示和发展舞台,充分调动学生学习和应用英语的积极性,提高学生的学习效率和应用能力,培养我国社会经济发展所需的涉外英语人才。
In order to better improve the effectiveness of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper proposes the strategy of setting up the second classroom for higher vocational colleges in the light of the current needs of society and the reality of English teaching in higher vocational colleges to make up for the problems of classroom teaching Insufficient, to help students learn more about Anglo-American culture and communicative situations, especially through the colorful English activities to meet the different needs of students interest and personality, improve students’ learning efficiency and ability to apply to develop our social and economic development Foreign English talents. The establishment of the second class in English teaching in higher vocational colleges can make up for the lack of classroom teaching, create a more favorable application environment for students, help students to broaden their horizons, improve communication skills and enhance students’ interest in application. The second class provides students with more chances to experience English and helps students learn more about Anglo-American culture. In particular, they can meet students’ different interests and individual needs through colorful English activities and build more English shows for students. Develop the stage, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students to learn and apply English, improve students’ learning efficiency and ability to apply, and cultivate foreign English talents required for social and economic development in our country.
