Last fall, I had the opportunity to visit Tbilisi, the capital of the Soviet Republic of Georgia, a beautiful mountain town full of sunlight. I paid a special visit to Comrade Ottar Noordia, chairman of the editorial board of the Georgian Literary Translation Agency and a member of the Georgian Writers Association. Comrade Ottar warmly received me and answered my question one by one. Georgian Literary Translation Editorial Board is part of the Georgian Writers’ Association, founded in 1973. The purpose of this editorial board is to organize, direct and develop the literary translation and cultural exchange in the Republic of Georgia. There is a systematic and systematic translation of the best literature of the various nationalities of the Soviet Union and other countries in the world
