“新闻舆论工作要紧紧围绕经济建设这个中心,服从、服务于全党全国工作的大局。”这是江泽民同志对新闻工作的要求。当前,确保我国国民经济增长8％已为全国经济工作的重点,也应当是新闻报道的重点。面对新的形势、新的任务,就要把握好经济报道的舆论导向,为经济改革加油助威,就必须改变工作方式,调整报道思路。仅仅应用过去一厂一店式的模式从事经济报道,显然已不适应当前的形势,不能满足读者的需要。这就提示新闻工作者要用宏观的、联系的眼光,重新审视经济生活中的每一个细微变化,以新的视角、新的思维观察经济现象,分析经济形势。为此,本刊特别开设了“经济报道新思维”专栏。本期两位作者分析了亚洲金融危机对国内、国际经济报道方法与思路的启示,阐述了透过国际视角从事国内经济报道的意义及方法。今后,“经济报道新思维”专栏还将就粮食流通体制改革、住房制度改革、建立现代企业制度等一系列问题邀请各方人士畅所欲言,交流经验,共同研讨经济发展的新动向,探索经济报道的新思路、新方法。希望这个专栏能够得到广大读者的支持与关注。
“Press and public opinion work should focus on the center of economic construction, obey and serve the overall interests of the entire party and the country.” This is Comrade Jiang Zemin’s requirement for the work of journalism. At present, ensuring that the 8% growth of our national economy has been the focus of the national economic work should also be the focus of news coverage. Faced with the new situation and new tasks, we must grasp the direction of public opinion in economic reporting and cheer on economic reforms. We must change our working methods and readjust their thinking. Applying only the past one factory-shop model in economic reporting, apparently not suited to the current situation, can not meet the needs of readers. This suggests that journalists should review each subtle change in economic life with macroscopic and connected perspectives, look at the economic phenomena from a new perspective and new thinking, and analyze the economic situation. To this end, we published a special “economic report new thinking” column. The current two authors analyzed the implications of the Asian financial crisis on the methods and thinking of domestic and international economic reporting and elaborated the significance and methods of domestic economic reporting through an international perspective. In the future, the column entitled “New Ideas in Economic Reporting” will also invite people from all walks of life to freely talk about and exchange experiences on a series of issues concerning the reform of the grain circulation system, the reform of the housing system and the establishment of a modern enterprise system so as to jointly discuss the new trends in economic development and explore economic reports New ideas, new methods. I hope this column can get the support and attention of readers.
