随着生活节奏的加快以及网络信息技术的广泛应用,国民的阅读量呈现出逐渐下降的趋势,不仅对现代图书馆造成了强大的冲击同时也提供了良好的发展机遇,基于此背景笔者就图书馆如何抓住发展机遇积极开展阅读推广活动,紧密结合当下时代发展趋势,迎合不同用户的需求,提高自身服务效率和服务质量,充分发挥基层图书馆的功能作用,有效提高全民阅读量。文章简要介绍了现阶段全民阅读的基本情况和时代背景,分析了基层图书馆对于推动全民阅读的关键性作用,并针对如何发挥基层图书馆的功能性,开展丰富的阅读推广活动,提升全民阅读积极性和热情。
