综合实践活动课程是国家规定、学校执行、以学生综合素质发展为本的课程。是以学生的兴趣和直接经验为基础,以与学生学习生活和社会生活密切相关的各类问题为内容,以活动为主要开展形式,以研究性学习为基本学习方式,以培养学生的创新精神、实践能力以及体现对知识的综合运用为主要目的一类新型课程。九年义务教育从小学三年级至九年级开设综合实践活动课是新一轮基础教育课程改革的最新亮点。然而综合实践活动没有课程标准,没有教材,没有教参,也没有现成的教学模式可借鉴。上什么?怎么上?谁来上?是摆在广大中小学教师面前需要回答和解决的问题。为了帮助中小学教师组织教学,本刊收集了一些案例分期刊登,供借鉴参考。
