同志们: 我们全省新闻工作者几年才开一次代表大会,这是一个难得的机会,有这么多的同志聚会在一起。除了完成大会主要议题之外,省记协书记处的同志建议,要我把最近一段时期同宣传报道有关的情况向同志们作些介绍,供同志们在工作中参考。最近,省委召开了思想政治工作会议。这是我省第一次由省委召开的大型的、高规格的思想政治工作会议,由各市、地、州委一把手、宣传部长和县委分管意识形态的书记、大专院校的党委书记、大型企业的党委书记参加。会议开得相当成功。各地正在传达会议的精神,我们的报纸、电台、电视台,以及综合性刊物,在宣传报道中正体现这次会议精神。这里,我结合新闻工作实际,对今后一段时期的宣传报道,提出以下几点意见: 第一、怎样为改革、开放服务,同时也就提出为发展社会主义商品经济服务,这两个问题是密切联系着的; 第二、怎样为科学技术进步服务; Comrades: It is a rare opportunity for our journalists in our province to hold a representative conference in a few years. The meeting opened quite successfully. The spirit of the meeting is being conveyed everywhere. Our newspapers, radio and television stations and comprehensive publications are demonstrating the spirit of the meeting in the media coverage.
