2010年的最后一天,史铁生因病去世.坐在轮椅上的他,曾以一支笔教会我们思考.他依靠着对生命的坚强、乐观创作了知名散文《我与地坛》、短篇小说《我的遥远的清平湾》以及《老屋小记》等优秀的作品,感动了一代读者.这些用汗水和心血凝成的文字,并未因作家的离去而丧失价值. 《我与地坛》是史铁生最具代表性的作品之一,其中的一二部分已被选人苏教版的高中语文教材.在史铁生逝世不久之际,重读这篇课文,对史铁生的人生观有了另一种感悟和理解.
