一一九八九年八月。北京。中国美术馆。「全国第四届书法篆刻展览」。一幅八尺隶书对联上卡着一张红色纸条;「一等奖。河南:王宝贵」。它立刻吸引了众多的参观者。对联内容为董必武「题厦门集美熬园联」:「旋转乾坤移山倒海,济人利物震古铄今」。字体开张而奇崛,用笔爽朗而蕴藉,气势宏大,格调高古;它既非汉代任何碑刻的翻版,也非清人隶书某家之再现,但涵容着多种汉碑和清代多家隶书的意味,苍而润,古而新,以刚为主,寓柔于刚。两年多后,一九九二年五月,此件作品又获得了河南省政府颁发的「省首届文学艺术优秀成果奖」。
August 1989. Beijing. China Art Museum. “The Fourth Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition.” An eight-foot official script couplet card with a red note; “first prize. Henan: Wang Baogui.” It immediately attracted many visitors. The content of the couplet is Dong Biwu, titled “Xiamen Jimei Acupuncture in Xiamen:” It is not a replica of any inscription in the Han Dynasty, nor is it a reproduction of a home of the official script of the Han dynasty. However, it accommodates a variety of Han tablets and a number of official scriptures in the Qing Dynasty Mean, Cangrun Run, the ancient and new, with just the main, Yu-Gang Yu Gang. More than two years later, in May 1992, this piece of work won the first Provincial Outstanding Achievement Award in Literature and Art issued by the Henan Provincial Government.
