100个小麦品种多个品质性状间的相关分析结果指出,3个品质性状与4个、6个和8个品质性状间的相关系数分别为0.9005、0.8747和0.8346,差异都达到了极显著水平;4个品质性状与6个和8个品质性状间的相关系数分别为0.9715和0.9519;6个品质性状与8个品质性状间的相关系数为0.9768,差异也达到了极显著水平。这一结果指出,进行小麦品质分析时,用3个品质性状的分析结果基本上可以代替4个、6个和8个品质性状结果;同样用4个品质性状的分析结果基本上可以代替6个和8个品质性状分析结果;用6个品质性状分析结果基本上可以代替8个品质性状结果。由于精简了分析项目,不仅有较大的社会效益和经济效益,而且在小麦育种实践中应用,还可以大大地提高育种效率。
