粳籼89是佛山市农科所以粳籼杂交后代677与IR 36复交选育成的早、晚造兼用(本田生育期均为95天左右)的籼型品种,其主要特点如下:1.优质。经省种子站送检结果,早造为二级米、晚早为特一级,千粒重18—19克,出米率70%,米饭软滑可口。2.高产。根据番禺、高明、顺德、中山、珠海等县、市较大面积试种结果表明,粳籼89穗大、粒多、耐肥、增产潜力大,高产田亩产500—550公斤,
