为探讨山药多糖对四氧嘧啶诱导的糖尿病小鼠血糖及血脂的作用及其与剂量大小的关系,试验随机选取健康小鼠连续2 d腹腔注射四氧嘧啶(150 mg/kg)建立糖尿病模型(空腹血糖值>11.1 mmol/L),将小鼠分为正常空白对照组、模型对照组、高剂量山药多糖处理组、低剂量山药多糖处理组,前两组每日灌胃等体积的生理盐水,山药多糖高、低剂量组分别灌胃400 mg/kg与200 mg/kg的山药多糖,连续灌胃12 d后分别测定各组小鼠血糖、总胆固醇、三酰甘油、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇水平。结果表明:山药多糖能显著降低造模小鼠的血糖、血脂,而且高剂量的山药多糖降血糖、血脂效果更明显。
