民族高校公共英语教育对于培养少数民族人才具有非常重要的作用,但是目前的公共英语教学中存在诸如学生学习英语时受母语干扰、学习者学习动机不足、缺乏懂民族语的英语老师、教学模式单一等问题。因此必须加强学生自主学习能力的培养,改变传统教学模式,提高师资队伍素质,关注少数民族地区基础英语教学与民族院校大学英语教学的衔接问题,从而提高民族院校的公共英语教学水平。
The public English education in colleges and universities in our country plays a very important role in cultivating the talents of ethnic minorities. However, there are such problems as the students’ learning English by mother tongue, the lack of motivation to learn, the lack of English teachers who understand the national language, the single teaching mode And other issues. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability, to change the traditional teaching mode, to improve the quality of teaching staff, to pay attention to the connection between basic English teaching in ethnic minority areas and college English teaching in ethnic colleges so as to improve the public English teaching level in ethnic colleges.
