第五届亚洲专门用途英语教学国际研讨会暨第二届中国专门用途英语教学国际研讨会于2013年9月27至29日在上海复旦大学顺利召开。本文拟对本次会议的主要学术观点做简要述评,厘清通识教育及专门用途英语教学的概念关系,并提出新的思考创新与突破,从理论与实践,宏观与微观各个层面阐述高等教育国际化和经济全球化背景下我国大学外语教学发展的有关问题。
The Fifth International Seminar on English for Special Purpose English Teaching and the Second International Seminar on English Teaching for Special Purposes in China were successfully held in Shanghai Fudan University from September 27 to September 29, 2013. This article intends to make a brief commentary on the main academic points of this conference, clarify the conceptual relationship between general education and English for specialized purposes, and put forward new ideas, innovations and breakthroughs, and elaborate the status of higher education from the aspects of theory and practice, macro and micro On the Development of Foreign Language Teaching in Chinese Universities under the Background of Economic Globalization.
