广西融水苗族自治县临近柳州,北靠贵州,东靠桂林,西邻河池,离自治区首府南宁市380公里。地势中部高四周低,中西部和西南部为中山地区,东南部和东北部为低山地区,南端为丘陵岩溶区。是广西乡村旅游“十二五”发展规划中安排的一百个乡村旅游发展示范基地之一,规划的十条特色乡村旅游线路中最精品的桂北山水生态乡村民俗旅游线上的主要组成部分和大桂林乡村旅游集群与环柳州市乡村旅游集群的重要辐射区,乡村旅游区位条件良好。
