不知道从什么时候开始,很多人喜欢在开心网、博客、空间等转载澳门美食地图。大利来猪扒包、
沙度娜木糠布甸、安德鲁饼店葡挞、冯记猪脚姜、雅馨缅甸美食、礼记冰淇淋、荣记豆腐面食、钜记手信、恒友鱼旦……(Rico抢着说:“还有陈光记烧腊店的烧鸭、盛记白粥的绿茶豆腐花……”被pia飞)只要想起这些,Grace总想马上飞奔到澳门,一次吃个够。所以打算到澳门玩的同学,千万不要错过这些美食哦!
Macau’s food may be overshadowed[遮蔽] by the world famous Cantonese cuisine[烹饪] of nearby Hong Kong, but the unique Macanese cuisine of Macau is well worth
tucking into[大吃特吃]. Much like the city’s identity[身份],
Macanese food is a fusion[熔合], combining the best of
Chinese and Portuguese ingredients[成分,配料] and cooking, along with exotic influences from as far as Goa, Brazil and other former Portuguese colonies.
Like Cantonese cuisine, Macanese cuisine is largely based on freshly hooked seafood, though the creatures from the deep on offer are slightly different. Codfish[鳕鱼],
crab and sardines all feature on menus, alongside duck, rabbit and chicken dishes. It is, however, in the flavours that the Portuguese influence really shines through. Spices such as chilli, turmeric[姜黄] and coconut, amongst others, feature heavily. While Cantonese cooking relies heavily on freshness and simplicity, Macanese dishes are often baked or roasted for long periods to allow the flavour of the spices to come out. Desserts, arguably[可论证地] a weak link in the Cantonese cuisine, are also well-represented in Macanese cuisine. Just try a Macau Egg Tart.
Fancy tucking into some typical Macanese dishes but worried about tucking into the unknown? Here we’ve picked five of Macau’s most popular dishes:
1. Caldo Verde
Very similar to the Portuguese original, Macau’s Caldo Verde soup also uses potatoes but substitutes[代替] locally available bok choy[小白菜] for the kale[甘蓝]. This, alongside green salad, is an almost universal starter in Macanese cuisine.
2. Minchi
Probably Macau’s national dish, Minchi is minced[切碎]
beef or pork cooked with potatoes, onions, soy sauce and occasionally an egg. It’s a fantastic filler food in winter.
3. Porco Balichao Tamarino
Pork cooked in tamarind[罗望子] paste, shrimp paste, chillies and topped off with a dash of sugar. Macau’s
version of sweet and sour.
4. African Chicken
One of the few Macanese dishes that has made it onto menus outside the city, African Chicken is whole chicken baked with chillies, garlic and in coconut milk.
5. Curried Crab
Usually monster sized whole crabs baked in their shells in a curry sauce and served with stir fried vegetables.
