No day in the world of art is as noticeable today. Artists are the most dazzling stars. Works of art create one after another a high price in the auction market. Collectors and markets, together with artists, have collectively become the footnote of a Chinese legend. But what’s important is not that. A piece of art, you should know that the first move you, not because of her expensive, but because of her beauty. An artist, what matters is not that he can sell more expensive works, but he and his works together touched you. Even as the critic Li Xianting said, what matters is not art. We have the honor to interview several female sculptors. The works of each of them are so different, but they have some similarities. They invest so much in their work that sculpture seems to be their lifelong beliefs and tasks; and they are all living in a society surrounded by money and flashy things, all moving forward and exploring the ways ahead. We know that it is impossible to depict them in only one passage, nor can they depict their innermost feelings about art. We have recorded everything just to tell other people to look at those maverick women.
