哈佛校训称,一个人的成长不在于经验和知识,更重要的在于他是否有先进的理念和思维方式。同样,一个理念的恒久不在于当下,而在于其是否保持不断充实和革新的劲头和冲力。检察理念即是如此。伴随着新刑事诉讼法的修改和实施,检察理念的内容一直在充实和革新,特别是在公正理念、监督理念和理性理念方面,新刑事诉讼法对检察理念有了更高诉求。
