Background: Accumulating evidence suggests that neuroinflammation plays an important role in the progression of Parkinsons disease(PD).Excessively activated microglia produces several pro-inflammatory enzymes and pro-inflammatory cytokines,leading to damage of surrounding neurons and eventually inducing neurodegeneration.
