In order to investigate the possible foodbome pathogens hn ready-to-eat food such as cooked and leftover rice,a simple and rapid multiplex-PCR protocol for detection of Bacillus cereus,Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli wasdeveloped.Three primer sets which were specific to B.cereus (Bal),S.aureus (Sa0856) and E.coli (uspA) respectively and one universal primer (16S rRNA primer,used as a internal control) were combined into a primer pool.
