Suction piles in deep water has been used widely in recent years,and compared with the single big diameter suction pile,the FEA and theoretical model and plus limited real engineering data indicates that clustered suction piles have more advantages in bearing and lateral capacity.But the experimental test for triple piles embedded in sand or clay soil under all possible load cases are very few,and the offshore and subsea development will bring this challenge to our research field.
