University students, teachers, and administrative personnel are important components of the educational management system of higher education institutions, and the student is the subject of school work.Many institutions lay more emphasis on the positions and roles of the administrative personnel and teachers,while overlook the subject status of the students.With the continuous development of the democratization of higher education institutions, the university students have played an increasingly important role in the management of institutions.By summing up years of student management experience, this paper discusses the current situation and existing problems in students participation in democratic management of higher education institutions and puts forward relevant suggestions and approaches for practical exploration.
