The intraperitoneal(i.p.)administration of exendin-4 reduces normal food and high-sucrose food intake in rats, whereas lesions of the central nucleus of the amygdala(CeA)attenuates the food suppression by exendin-4.In the present study,we investigated the effects of bilateral lesions of the CeA on the normal food and high-sucrose food intake suppression by exendin-4 in rats.
