Objective: To develop the Core Competency Scale for Operating Room Nurses and test its reliability and validity.Methods: The scale was based on qualitative interview and Delphi method.Totally 300 Operating Room Nurses were recruited from six tertiary first-class hospitals.And 20 nurses were retested one month later.The reliability of the scale was based on internal consistency reliability and test-retest reliability.Confirmatory factor analysis was employed to test the construct validity of the instrument.
