The Detroit business district is cut by highways and city roads and is very inconvenient for pedestrians. The new pedestrian bridge system links a large stadium (athletics hall) with a car parking building. Its planning and design are strictly limited by the shape of the site, the original ground transportation, buildings and various underground facilities.
