Many ball critics think the United States is joking about hosting the 1994 FIFA World Cup, but in the eyes of Bobby Charlton, a former England national, this is by no means a joke. Charlton, the most famous football ambassador, believes that the United States will run the finals week with great success and may thus break the long-established situation in the international games. Bobby Charlton, a member of England who won the 19166 World Cup, reiterated that he would not doubt the economic conditions and enthusiasm of the United States and regret the organized league and other football cultures. He said: “Soccer is an international game and is under development at any time. There should be some people playing football around the world. I hope that Morocco will have the chance to host the final week in the future, as will Japan. I am sure that China will host the World Cup.”
