First of all, please talk about how art works reflect the times. Shen Yaoyi: Art does not serve politics directly so much, but influences everybody subtly through its own laws. Art is the heart of the heart, I first moved, and I hope to move through my paintings to others. For example, I focus on the Long March because those people represent the spirit of the Chinese nation’s rise and they have a letter
