In the first two lectures, we discussed the meanings of the parameters in the relational equations of the inner and outer deflection angles of the left and right guide wheels when the wheeled vehicle is steered by a deflection wheel, and the geometric relationship and the movement relationship of certain parameters. Although these contents do not directly discuss the design method, it is very meaningful to establish the correct design goals. The mechanism is generally designed to meet the theoretical relationship between the internal and external deflection angles, just to avoid or reduce the lateral sliding of the tire on the ground.
