(一)保护生态环境是当今世界面临的重大课题,环境问题的一个热点是保护生物多样性.1985年我国环保部门与英国乌邦寺庄园的主人塔维斯托克侯爵签订合作协议,进行了麋鹿重引进项目.其目的是使早已在国内绝迹的我国特有动物糜鹿得到恢复,并以此作为保护生物多样性的尝试,推动我国自然保护事业的发展.经过五年多的努力,这项工作已经取得了可喜的成果.
