In recent years, many people think that the human body is not in a sterile biological state, but rather a subtle equilibrium between the potentially infectious bacteria and the body’s resistance. Therefore, the existence of bacteria in the wound itself is not a determinant of infection, the key lies in the degree of bacterial growth and the body’s resistance to the balance of power is unbalanced. If the body’s defense mechanism is weakened or bacterial virulence is strong, increasing in number (more than 100,000 bacteria per gram of tissue) can cause infection. Starting from this concept, all preventive measures are intended to rebuild this normal balance of power.
