I. Project Overview In June 1989, the Chaoyang Pit Exploration Brigade of the Liaoning Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources contracted a chimney demolition project in Chaoyang City. The chimney is located in the funeral home of Chaoyang Suburbs, with a height of 35m, a bottom diameter of 4m, an outer wall thickness of 0.5m, a lining thickness of 0.24m, a brickwork structure, and a 7cm thick argillaceous filling sandwich between the outer wall and the inner lining. There is a 0.72m (width) × 0.63m (height) and 0.74m (width) × 0.8m (height) flue in the chimney at the bottom of the chimney, 33° west of the east and 50° east of the west.
