Angiopoietin family and its receptor (Tie1, Tie2) are newly discovered angiogenic factors in recent years and are involved in various physiological and pathological angiogenesis. Now members of the family of angiogenin include Ang-1, Ang-2, Ang-3 and Ang-4. Members of the angiopoietin family can chemotaxic endothelial cells, induce vascular budding, and enhance the sensitivity of vascular endothelial cells to growth factors (such as VEGF, etc.); and in the presence of growth factors such as VEGF, lead to extensive proliferation of endothelial cells Accumulation and a series of processes that play an important role in the abnormal angiogenesis mechanism of hemangiomas. This article reviews only the relationship between Ang family members and their receptors and angiogenic angiogenesis.
