陈兰彬(1816～1895),字荔秋,晚清广东吴川县人,官至刑部主事,后兴办洋务。1872～1881年留美幼童公案,被学界评定为一保守分子。本文对陈兰彬的家庭背景、生活时代、从政经验进行研究,力图还原历史,对陈兰彬作出客观公正的评判。
Chen Lanbin (1816 ~ 1895), the word lychee, Guangdong Wuchuan County in the late Qing Dynasty, the official to the Ministry of Punishments, the latter to establish Westernization. From 1872 to 1881, a case of young children studying in the United States was assessed by the academic community as a conservative. This article studies Chen Lanbin’s family background, life time and politics experience, trying to restore history and making objective and fair judgment on Chen Lanbin.
