Kisspeptin, a Kiss-1 gene expression product, was initially found to have an inhibitory effect on the metastasis of human melanoma after binding to receptor GPR54, and subsequently led to extensive research. Numerous studies have shown that Kisspeptin / GPR54 is not only closely related to the metastasis of breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer, renal cell carcinoma, gallbladder cancer, liver cancer and other tumors, but also with the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis hormone secretion and puberty hypoplasia There is a close relationship. This article reviews the recent progress of the study on the relationship between Kisspeptin / GPR54 and the inhibition of tumor metastasis and neuroendocrine system diseases.
