自一九七二年第二十四届国际地质会议召开以来,国际岩石学委员会(ICP)所推荐使用的“I.U.G.S”(国际地质科学联合会)深成岩分类命名方案已为岩石学界广泛采用。但通过实际应用和详细计算对比证明,该方案还存一些问题,主要有:1、该方案中的双三角分类命名图解不适用过碱性岩类。2、将计算(或统计)的Q、A、P、F值换算为100%(即:Q+A+P=100或F+A+P=100)进行国解投影出现较多的跨类现象。3、该方案对一些主要的火成岩类型不能(也不可能)进行更详细的分类命名。
Since the 24th International Geological Conference was held in 1972, the “I.U.G.S” (International Union of Geological Sciences) lithology classification scheme recommended by the International Petrology Committee (ICP) has been widely adopted by petrologists. However, through practical application and detailed calculation and comparison, it is proved that there are still some problems in this program. The main problems are as follows: 1. The bi-triangle classification and naming scheme in this scheme is not applicable to overbased rocks. 2. Convert the calculated (or statistical) Q, A, P, and F values to 100% (ie: Q+A+P=100 or F+A+P=100) phenomenon. 3. The program can’t (and can’t) make more detailed classification and classification of some major igneous rock types.
