Heat pipes have been used in the world for cooling in electronics and aerospace industries in the 1960s. In the 1970s heat pipes were used in industrial, agricultural, medical, and household heating applications. Since the oil crisis in the capitalist world in 1973, the heat pipe has experienced rapid development as a heat exchanger. In particular, it shows its superiority in recovering low temperature waste heat. At present, the heat pipe products in some countries have been commercialized and serialized, and are widely used in many fields such as aviation, electronics, machinery, electrical appliances, textile, chemicals, construction, medical care and home appliances. The heat pipe technology is an applied technology . Since 1972, when we developed the heat pipe, we have made some achievements.
