自文化转向之后,文化因素的英译一直是翻译界的热点问题。处理该问题究竟应该采用归化还是异化一直争论不休。本文以《纽约时报》中汉语文化因素的英译为研究样本,引入目的论,根据译文的预期目的决定采用异化翻译,并指出“中国英语”在汉语文化因素英译时的不可避免性。 Since the shift of culture, the English translation of cultural factors has always been a hot issue in the field of translation. Whether to deal with the issue of domestication or alienation has been a constant debate. This article takes the English translation of the Chinese cultural elements in The New York Times as a research sample, introduces the theory of purpose, and decides to use the alienation translation according to the expected purpose of the translation. It also points out the unavoidability of “Chinese English” in the English translation of Chinese cultural factors .
