用旧有罐式真空脱气设备改造成的真空氧氩炉外精炼工业性试验装置,试炼了超低炭不锈钢,微炭电工纯铁和镍(钴)合金,通过试验证明:1.在氩气来源不足和生产钢种较多的特殊铜厂中采用既能进行真空吹氧脱炭又能进行真空吹氩去气的真空氧氩炉外精炼设备是合理的;2.设备构成中采用水冷拉瓦尔喷枪吹氧,氧浓差电池控制吹炼终点,真空加料装置进行脱氧、造渣和调整成份以及采用自动对中心的桶盖对保证精炼过程的顺利进行起了极为重要的作用;3.结合实际制定的精炼工艺可以保证有效地脱炭、去气、达到较高的铬回收率和得到优良的产品质量:4.此种精炼方法可以大幅度地降低成本,降低电耗和提高电炉的生产率;5.所得技术资料可以作为设计新的生产性设备的依据.
