Two years ago, the archives work in Jinshan County was “famous” among all districts and counties in the city with few, poor and slow records in terms of file allocation of cadres, establishment of establishments and systematization of the hall. Take the figures at the end of 1985 as an example. There are six cadres in the county archives, and the number of establishments in the grassroots units is zero. Systematicization in the museum only accounts for 19.8% of the total number of archives, ranking second from the penultimate counties in the outer suburbs. The relevant leaders of the county, from their own work, are deeply aware that archives are a potential source of energy and an indispensable condition for carrying out various tasks. The status quo of archival work in our county is unsatisfactory. In order to change the backwardness, we must start from the leadership to solve the problem of file status in leaders’ minds at all levels. At the same time, we should help the file department to solve the necessary personnel and funding issues for carrying out file work in order to better utilize the file has an effect. To this end, the county leadership has done a lot of solid work in strengthening the file.
