培养才能重于传授知识提起小学自然常识这门课,人们理所当然地会认为,这是一门自然科学方面的知识性的基础课程。但是日本却早在一九四一年就提出了对这门课程要“消除容易偏重知识的比比弊病”。一门知识性的课程却把偏重知识看作“弊病”,乍听起来是颇为费解的。但是三十八年来,日本的中小学教育尽管几经重大的改革,却始终坚持着“把重点不放在知识上,而放在科学的考察和处理能力上,以培养科学精神为着眼点”的方向,不断地进行着探索,并且形成了一套从指导思想、教材、教学方法一直到考查方式等方面的比较完整的
Cultivation can be more than imparting knowledge. It is natural to think that this is a knowledge-based basic course in the natural sciences.
